Barkerville

Barkerville Historic Homestead in the North Cariboo-Chilcotin Region of British Columbia, Canada is approximately 81 kilometres (50 mi.) east of Quesnel, BC on Highway 26. Barkerville is a mining town dating back to the 1800s.  The historic site is located on the Cariboo Gold Rush Trail, once a popular transportation route for early pioneers, miners and trappers.

Huble Homestead Historic Site

Huble Homestead Historic Site is located in Prince George, British Columbia, Canada just north of Hixon BC. The historic site, once a trading post for trappers, miners and settlers, played an important role in the movement of goods during the early 1900s. Today, the 54 acre homestead is a popular historical sightseeing destination in the Giscome Regional Park, as well as, a trailhead to the Giscome Heritage Trail.
