Situated in Hixon along Highway 97, our campground is one
of the most beautiful and best kept secrets in the central interior of British Columbia, Canada. Located in a lovely
and unique creek side setting, it is total privacy within 35 minutes of Prince George to
the north, and an equal distance to Quesnel in the south. There is a half
mile of creek side walking, as well as cross-country ski and eco-nature trails
nestled amongst magnificent evergreens and towering cottonwoods. There
are several species of fish for fly and creek fishing (fishing season
opens July 1), or try your hand at gold panning. Tranquil and serene are
the various park bench setting and picnic sites with tables. Moss covered
tenting sites will ensure a soft sleep with Mother Nature, and roasting
wieners and marshmallows over an open fire will ensure pleasant memories
with loved ones.
